A place of rainbow for sure ..
Colorful comment Bjรถrn, thank you kindly ๐
Hi Mike
This poem is wonderful. Visually pleasing as well as being an important but beautiful sentiment.
Hope its okay that I have featured you on my upcoming ‘5 Awesome Poetry Blogs’ to be published wednesday.

WOW! Honoured Stephy – seriously. And thank you so much ๐
…and buses ๐
You’re just saying that because they’re red (poor old loveless Black Cabs) ๐
You’ be surprised what they get up to while they’re waiting for a pick up.
Hell yeah!
Damn straight!
Clever haiku, Mike with all the colours of the rainbow.
I’ve walked by Eros in Picadilly Circus on numerous occasions during my 3 trips to England but Eros’ arrow never struck me any time.
Although I must admit that after I kissed the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle- that’s when I started writing fiction- short stories and novels in earnest.
LOL! I think you’re trying a bit of the blarney on me now DVH. Thank you for a comment that forms a short story ๐
I suppose it could form a short story, Mike.
LOL!
I remember there was some beautiful woman in a short skirt who was directly in front of me in line to kiss the stone.
I guess whoever her particular tour director was hadn’t told her that to kiss the Blarney Stone, she’d have to lie down and bend over backwards to kiss the stone.
And thus a short skirt might not be appropriate attire for such a feat.
Needless to say, I can’t really remember what the Blarney Stone looked like as it seems to be another image that’s fully embedded in my mind from that particular day.
A eye for fine detail is a prerequisite for a fine poet ๐
Well executed, Mike. I adore all the bright colors. May London never disappoint its viewers.
It’s a hip place with a buzz all of it’s own Audrey. Glad you like this take on it, thank you.
Witty comment on London social mores. Well done!
Thanks Benny, Funny how if you examine a noted scene, you can see something different.
Perfect touch with the rainbow colours, Mike. You = uniquely wonderful.
Aw Christy, thank you. Now if I can only get the paint off my monitor… ๐
Eros knows, who hasn’t had a circus romance while in London!
๐ Most ambiguous comment EVER!
Mike! Just the man who might be able to help me spread the knowledgeโฆ

As it happens a person I’m friendly with counts a fashion designer among his friends in Melbourne and I’ll get this off to him right now with an explainer. Let me know if you have anything on YouTube or elsewhere that might be useful too. I was once told that Oz has a high book-reading demographic and while I can’t cite it more specifically, it bodes well for authors. I wish you success Jackie.
Nothing on YT, just my blog. You’re a gem, Mike!
